The 2002 Chicago International Coin Fair

April 4-7 hundreds of coin enthusiasts converged on the Holiday Inn O'Hare  in Rosemont, Illinois for the 2002 Chicago International Coin Fair, one of the largest coin shows in the US dedicated solely to ancient and international coins.

96 coin dealers from the US, Canada, England, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, and Israel offered an outstanding array of coins and antiquities, as well as books and related supplies.

Other highlights of the show included a number of excellent lectures, meetings and auctions.  In addition to the scheduled activities, attendees enjoyed some informal gatherings, and members of the online numismatic community had a chance to meet in person.
